I think the event was hugely successful and just “plane” fun for all!. We had guests from Grants Pass, Medford, and Florence. I asked the guy I think his name was Dave from Florence how he would rate our field and accommodations from a 1 to 10 and he did not hesitate to immediately say 11.5. We need to be aware that others do look at our facilities and take note and tell there friends. I had several people tell me that we were very nice and they had a great time spending the day with us and would like to come back and fly at the field. I was not there Sunday but was told that Sunday was very good as well and a big thanks to all that supported the club on Sunday. We also gained 3 new members and one renewal from last year too. Brad the President of the Eugene RC was very impressed with the field and said he had a great time and those that had not been to the field in a while were impressed and said the field was looking great and had a more open feel to it since the eradication of the dead trees and black berries to the West. Great job by all. THANK YOU! Treasurers Report - Khoi Tran At the Swap and Shop event I would guess we had a dozen cars of guests. We gained one confirmed member on Sat and one on Sunday. And two potential members may show up at our next meeting. Donations: $66 on Sat, $14 on Sun. Raffle tickets for one year membership dues rationed five each to: Jim C, Bill H, Bill S, Brad M, John R, Khoi T, Joe O and Rod M. We will raffle off the Guest Membership prize at Fun Fly in Aug. We have plenty of food and drinks, lots of drinks left over for summer use.
