Creswell RC Flyers Meeting Minutes Date: 05/28/19 Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President John Risbrough. Reading of last month’s meeting minutes: No minutes for the April meeting as it was a planning meeting for the Swap Meet. Treasury Report: Treasury report was presented by Rod Madison including beginning and ending balances. Approved as follows: Beginning Balance was $4,570.16 Total Income: $876.23 (membership dues and Swap Meet proceeds) Total Expenses: $101.33 (utilities, field improvement supplies) Ending Balance = $5,345.06 Announcements: 2019 CRCF Swap Meet: Another successful swap meet was held at the Creswell Community Center. Net income from the swap meet was $738.23. Kudos to all the members that worked hard to make it a great success! Swap-N-Fly Event: This year’s swap and fly is scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Walker Field. There will be communication coming on what needs to be done before the event. We’ll need volunteers for table set up, food and checking the BBQ for propane and working order. Field Maintenance: The field is in great shape thanks to many of the club members who have pitched in to keeping it in shape. Special thanks to Rod and Bill for their efforts to maintain the club field. Future projects include cleaning out of the storage shed and the mower shed as well as pouring two additional pads for aircraft anchors. Safety Review: Reminder that flight tables are to remain facing east away from the landing zone for additional safety. Show & Tell: Glenn gave a great synopsis of his recent flight training school in Wisconsin including pictures, instruction manuals and tips to be a successful RC pilot.
